Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

QueryHippo helps you collect and understand your Google Search Console history. This policy explains how Humanspeak Inc ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use QueryHippo. Privacy and support contact: support@queryhippo.com.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: account identifiers, profile and contact information provided through our authentication provider, Clerk, and details of your connected accounts.
  • Connected property data: when you authorize Google access, Search Console properties and access permissions, search queries, page URLs, dates, clicks, impressions, click-through rates, positions, and available breakdowns such as country, device, search type, and search appearance.
  • Service records: saved history, source archives, collection status, comparisons, analysis results, access grants, and credentials or tokens needed for authorized connections.
  • Technical and support information: information you send us, and operational information such as request timestamps, IP addresses, browser details, and error or security logs processed by us and our providers.

We request read-only Search Console access. Connecting a property does not give QueryHippo permission to edit your website or Search Console settings.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, collect and retain the history you request, display reports, calculate comparisons, provide exports and connections you authorize, respond to support requests, and maintain the reliability and security of QueryHippo.

Each owner’s dataset is kept separate. A matching domain in another customer’s account does not give that customer access to your history.

3. Aggregate data for better tooling

We may combine customer data into de-identified, aggregated statistics to develop, test, evaluate, and improve QueryHippo’s customer-facing tools. Examples include checking the accuracy of comparisons, improving data collection reliability, and evaluating reporting features.

Before using these statistics across customers, we will remove identifying details and use grouping or suppression so the results do not reasonably identify a person, customer, property, or website. Simply removing a name is not sufficient. We will not attempt to re-identify these statistics or publish customer-identifiable data.

This permission is limited by applicable law and data-provider policies. For Google data, including aggregated or derived data, use remains limited to providing or improving the permitted, prominent user-facing features of QueryHippo. This is not permission to sell data, use it for advertising, or train general-purpose AI models.

Cross-customer aggregation is a planned use; QueryHippo does not currently operate a cross-customer aggregation pipeline. We will provide any further notice and obtain any consent required before introducing a new data use.

4. Google data and Limited Use

QueryHippo’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or general-purpose AI model training. Human access to Google data is limited to your affirmative agreement to view specific data, necessary security or legal purposes, or aggregated data for permitted internal operations. Provider restrictions continue to apply to derived and aggregated data.

5. When information is shared

We use service providers to operate QueryHippo, including Clerk for authentication and connected-account access, and Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure. Providers may process information needed for those services.

If you authorize another person or connect an external tool, including an AI assistant through MCP, that recipient can access the data permitted by your authorization. External tools handle the information they receive under their own terms and privacy policies. Only connect tools you trust.

We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect security and prevent abuse. Any business transfer involving Google user data must satisfy Google’s restrictions, including explicit prior consent where required. We do not sell your personal information or connected property data.

6. Retention, disconnection, and deletion

QueryHippo is designed to preserve historical data, including source archives and analysis evidence, beyond the history available directly from Search Console. We retain information while needed to provide that history and operate the service, subject to deletion requests and applicable obligations.

Disconnecting Google stops future collection; it does not delete previously collected history. Disconnecting within QueryHippo also does not necessarily revoke Google access held through your sign-in provider. You can separately review and revoke permissions in your Google Account connections.

To request deletion of your account or collected history, contact support@queryhippo.com. We may verify your identity and authority over the data. Limited records may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, or resolving disputes. Where backups exist, residual copies may remain until those backups expire and must not be used for ordinary operations.

Statistics that have already been irreversibly de-identified and aggregated may be retained where permitted, because they can no longer be linked back to your account. Google’s data-use restrictions still apply.

7. Security, cookies, and international processing

We use access controls and other safeguards intended to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials and access tokens private.

QueryHippo and its authentication providers use cookies or similar browser storage for sign-in, session management, and necessary preferences. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to serve those requests.

Our providers may process information outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards must apply to international transfers.

8. Your choices and rights

You can disconnect integrations and revoke QueryHippo access tokens. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict use of personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact support@queryhippo.com to make a request.

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to provide the service you request, with your consent where required, for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement where permitted, or to comply with law. A statement in this policy does not replace consent when consent is required.

9. Children and policy changes

QueryHippo is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.

We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide notice of material changes. We will obtain any required consent before using Google data for a new purpose.
